Fortune Coin game overview
Fortune Coin has a relatively average RTP of 96.2% and medium volatility. This means that you’ll get hits pretty frequently, but really big wins are highly unlikely. And considering that you can take the wagering pretty high, it’s not an ideal combination for players looking to make it big.

Design
This game certainly has a very appealing high-quality visual design. The background takes us deep into a bamboo forest shrouded in mysterious mist.
There is a great contrast between the deep, subtle and subdued background design, and the bright, sharp and detailed symbols.
The slots are fast-paced and the symbols have great attention to detail.
The five high-paying symbols are gold statuettes of mythical animals, aside from the golden Dragon wild symbol. The low-paying royals (9-A) are not really outstanding, but that’s not a big deal, since they sometimes get taken out of the game during free spins rounds.
I will say one thing, though: the sound effects and the music can be a bit overwhelming. It’s a good idea to start the game with a low volume setting on your desktop or mobile device, and work your way up from there.
Gameplay
Don’t be fooled by the simple format of five reels and three rows. Fortune Coin has a MultiWays mechanic that brings over 243 ways to win. And we’re not talking about straight up paylines.
With MultiWays, you win anytime that matching symbols appear on adjacent columns, regardless of their position. Having a further matching symbol on the column activates a multiplier for that win.
This system pays from left to right, with the coin value acting as a multiplier for the win. You can’t combine different paylines, so only the highest-paying combination counts.
Bonus features
This game has some interesting features. It’s worth taking a quick look at them before going into detail with the most exciting ones:
- Synchronised reels: stacked symbols transform into any symbol at the start of the spin.
- Jackpot Bonus: multiplier based on coin value; applies to cash prizes and coin symbols

Jackpot bonus
The Jackpot Bonus lets you select one of four symbols to collect during the round: Maxi, Major, Minor or Mini. You continue selecting symbols until you match three, or until you get the Award All symbol.
