Wild symbols
Wild symbols are randomly appearing symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 while substituting for all other symbols except the scatter symbols.
Free Falls
A Chinese lantern represents the scatter symbol which can trigger 10 Free Falls (extra spins), in sets of 3. In the main game, a scatter appearing on the grid will award an extra 5 Free Falls. During the Free Falls, winning symbols are counted as jewels.

Asian-themed slots
Imperial Riches is not in my opinion the best Asian-themed slot. IGT did better with the visually appealing Fortune Coin, or Betsoft with the lovely Quest To The West with very high RTP.
Imperial Riches opinion: lacks intensity
Imperial Riches is designed to appeal to Asian-themed slot lovers for which Netent is not really known for. In part, it tries to entice players with spectacular graphics and sounds. While I did like both, it’s the potential for winning jackpots that interests me more, but, as you would imagine unlocking one is extremely difficult to do. First we need to get into the Free Falls Feature which is difficult enough but from there we need to also trigger the Jackpot Game which is not without its own challenges.
I felt that this slot was short on intensity and a little lacking in features. For starters, a scatter-pays symbol would have been nice. In terms of jackpot slots, Netent has better ones such as Divine Fortune which I would suggest instead.
