Rainforest Magic – Game overview
Rainforest Magic paints a fantasy world through its beautiful artwork where the transparent reels are surrounded by beautiful and colourful indigenous flora. Animated water runs down to the back of the reels and butterflies flutter across the screen. We can hear the sound of animals from behind the beat of drums and other instruments forming part of the musical soundtrack. The reel symbols consist of the following high-paying fauna: a golden monkey, red parrot, rare toucan, green snake and a tree frog. There are also four standard-paying playing card suit symbols.

Mystery Symbols
Mystery symbols can randomly appear on any of the reels and transform into an identical symbol. Unlike many other slots offering mystery symbols, these may turn out to be a wild. Mystery symbols increase the possibility of creating winning combinations.
Extra Spins with Mystery Reels
The jaguar wild symbol is also a scatter that can be used to unlock the extra spins. The first three scatter symbols will unlock 6 extra spins, and we can add 2 more extra spins for every scatter symbol that appears after that up to a maximum of fifteen jaguars or 30 extra spins.

Before the extra spins commence, four purple flowers are presented to us, and we must pick one of them. Our choice will determine the number of mystery reels that will be in place for the extra spins. This number can range from 1 to 4. High volatility slots
Playing highly volatile slots can be fun if we can tolerate the risk, but I would rather a slot like one of my 5 best high volatility slots instead such as Money Train 2 or Immortal Romance.
Rainforest Magic opinion:
Play’n GO has several great high volatility titles to their credit like Book of Dead that raises the bar. It’s no surprise then that Rainforest Magic has big shoes to fill. The slot starts off right, with beautiful graphics and superb audio work that supports the rainforest theme. While rainforests might not sound as exciting as Ancient Egypt, as they say, variety is the spice of life!
The slot comes with three features, all of which trigger relatively frequently and can be useful in creating wins, although the impact, as one might expect, from a high volatility slot can vary wildly. On average, I found wins of 20x total bet or more difficult to achieve, but extra spins were where I found the best chance of collecting higher wins of over 100x total stake. The extra spins were hit and miss though – not surprising for high volatility!
