Xmas Magic opinion: Scrooge-like Returns
Xmas Magic taps into the spirit of Christmas and does make for a new take on a rather crowded Christmas theme. It does offer several features, and with up to 50 paylines, we’d expect some potentially lucrative payouts. Alas, after playing this slot a few hundred times, I felt that cracking more significant wins of every 20x bet was very difficult to achieve. One could say that my returns were downright Scrooge-like which we don’t want from a high volatility game.
I’m a fan of Play’n GO games such as Book of Dead, and Play’n GO keeps churning out new, very high volatility games and Xmas Magic is no exception. Unfortunately, it felt like that the only thing that I’d be getting from Play’n GO would be a lump of coal in my stocking. If one’s a fan of high volatility, I can’t come up with a compelling argument to choose this slot over others out there.
