Gods of Olympia Megaways Gameplay and features
Any game with Megaways engine has a base level of excitement that you can only find on a slot that has a random number of rows on each reel which changes with every spin.
That said, it also means that the game has to add something else to the mix. In this case, there’s just a random modifier and a free spins feature. However, they’re both quite interesting and worth looking at in detail.
Zeus Power Spins
Zeus can randomly appear at any point during the base game and award any of these five bonus modifiers:
- Wild Thunder: adds up to 10 wild multipliers.
- Colossal Thunder: converts up to 6 reels into colossal reels.
- Mystery Thunder: adds mystery symbols to all reels.
- Bonus Thunder: adds bonus symbols to reels on maximum Megaways™.
- Respin Thunder: holds winning symbols in position during respins.
Free spins
When you land 3 or more scatter symbols on the reels, you’ll trigger the free spins feature. This lets you choose between four different types:
- Rise of Olympus free spins: multipliers increase by 1x when a wild lands on reels 2-5. Increasing the multiplier 5x wins you two more spins.
- Colossal free spins: 2×2 roaming wild turns all symbols beneath it into wild symbols.
- Almighty Wild free spins: any wild that lands on reels 2-5 have a value of 2x or 3x. Getting 3 or more scatter symbols upgrades wild multipliers and gives you 2 more spins.
- Wild Storm free spins: thunderbolts on reels 1 and 6 create a wild zone that turns other symbols into wilds on reels 2-5.
Theme & design
The game takes place in front of an epic ancient temple, at the peak of a mountain that can only be Mount Olympus.
The reels are supported by two columns, which have such flawless fluting that it looks like the marble was carved and polished to give it the sharpest contrasts of lights and shadows inside the grooves.
The design is highlighted with subtle animated clouds of mist, waterfalls and torch flames.
As for the symbols, the low-paying royals are carved into stone in the style of the ancient Greek alphabet. The high-paying symbols are four ancient Olympian Gods, including Zeus (God of Thunder) and Ares (God of War).
Of course there’s also a wild and scatter symbols.

Gods of Olympia Megaways™: intense and epic… but a bit monotonous
Gods of Olympia Megaways™ is Blueprint’s intense and epic reboot of Gods of Olympus. It’s a high-volatility game with an epic design that adds great intensity to the gameplay.
This game stands out because it accomplishes much without overdoing anything, and it creates an ambiance worthy of its mythical Olympian inspiration. The combination of the Megaways™ mechanic and the Zeus Power Spins feature provides a fun experience.
The only drawback is that it can get a bit monotonous. This slot lacks interactive elements and has very few controls in terms of wagering. There is little variety between spins and it can grow repetitive.
