Heroes Hunt Megaways™ is the type of game that has everything I love in a mobile slot. And I’ve tested a lot of slots to find out what I really like, I suggest you do the same.
The game is clearly inspired by the fantasy genre and RPGs. In that sense, it’s similar to Evolution Gaming’s Dungeon Immortal Evil. On the other hand, it retains a more traditional approach to the gameplay, while taking an innovative and exciting approach to the Megaways™ mechanic.
What really stands out about Heroes Hunt Megaways™ is that the features make the game feel different every time you play it.
You start the base game by choosing one of three hero features: Wizard (explosion), Warrior (expanding wild) or Archer (respins). You then collect cards to unlock the other two features. As you complete them, you progress through different levels in order to reach the final dungeon, where you play to win the dragon’s treasure.
The game is enhanced by the frequent hit rate of hits.
Fantastic design
Every element of the game is beautifully rendered to look like a storybook for adults. There is a great contrast between the deep, dark ambiance of the cavern and the bright and colourful artwork of the reels. It all fits into an exquisite and harmonious whole.
The first thing that stands out is the six reel by six row layout. This is unusual for a Megaways™ slot, because instead of having expanding symbols that fill up the reels, there are Blocker symbols that cover up to four rows per reel.
The avalanche (cascading wins) and explosion features let you clear out symbols to increase the chances of getting a winning combination.
The story revolves around three heroes on a quest: the Wizard (raven), the Warrior (lion) and the Archer (squirrel), who venture into a dark cavern, collecting gems as they make their way to the dragon’s lair.
The four low-paying symbols are the coloured gems that you gather.

Mechanics and features
The Megaways™ engine and the avalanche cascading wins combine with the different hero features for a complex and sophisticated iGaming experience.

Hero features
As we mentioned earlier, you start the game with one feature and spin the reels to unlock the other two. You do this by landing Chest symbols, which randomly reveal a feature card. You must collect three cards for each feature in order to unlock it, making it come into play and increasing the bonuses available on each spin.

Mimic free spins
The Mimic wild symbol is a monster disguised as a treasure chest. When it lands, it triggers 10 free spins, during which all three hero features are unlocked. This is by far the most exciting part of the base game.

Dragon free spins
Once you unlock all three heroes, the game advances to a deeper dungeon where you’ll be faced with a door. During this round, you must collect three key symbols to unlock the door and reach the dragon’s hoard, triggering Dragon free spins.
The aim in this round is to trigger the hero features in such a way as to destroy the dragon symbols that appear on the reels. Each symbol you destroy will trigger an additional free spin.
After the Dragon free spins round, the game resets and the Heroes Hunt starts over again.
