Jolly Dicers mechanics and features
This slot has a 4×4 grid format with six wooden dice symbols. The cluster pays system lets you create winning combinations with 4 or more adjacent matching symbols. The cascading reels mechanic causes winning symbols to disappear from the grid and be replaced by new ones. This brings the possibility of back-to-back wins without having to make any further wagers.
The reels are surrounded by ropes and pulleys, which move special symbols around the perimeter of the game. The first of these is the wild symbol, which creates winning clusters with adjacent combinations of matching dice. The other special symbols trigger features whenever they land in opposing positions across the reels, with four dice between them:
- Coin symbols (scatters) trigger the free spins bonus game.
- Potion symbols turn all the dice between them into matching sixes and create a cluster that pays 2.4x your bet.
- Bomb symbols cause the line of symbols between them to explode, awarding a prize worth the cumulative value of the dice multiplied by your wager.
- Cutlass symbols destroy all the low-paying dice (1, 2 and 3) and award you their cumulative value multiplied by your bet.Pistol symbols destroy all the high-paying dice (4, 5 and 6) and pay out their cumulative value multiplied by your bet.
With such complex mechanics, it’s good that the pay symbols are simple and easy to follow on the reels.

The rounds of six free spins have two special features. First comes the “dice eliminator”, which has you roll a pair of dice to define the numbers which you’ll aim to match up on the reels. The second is a special multiplier that increases every time you land winning combinations with these two numbers.
Gamble mini-game
The Jolly Dicers gamble feature is a game in which a pirate walks the plank and lands on a random modifier, which can cause your winnings to either increase by up to 500% or to lose almost all of their value. The good thing about this is that the maximum possible loss is equivalent to 80% of the prize value.

Theme & design
Jolly Dicers is strikingly beautiful, especially if you look at its very original game symbol distribution system. The overall game setting is very well thought out.
It is a dice game that takes place on the back of a 17th century pirate ship. The background and rigging are dynamic elements, so the ship moves slowly in the breeze as you play.
While you terrorise innocent ships full of money, the captain and his assistant watch the action. While the combination of the dice game system with the pirate theme is interesting, it’s overall well designed.
I think the comical facial expressions of the characters but I understand that some people may find them ridiculous, it may not be to everyone’s taste.
